MeetUp: Over Sixty, single and sophisticated (Grupo para salir: Más de 60, soltera y sofisticada)

I loved the title of this meeting that I found today in my inbox. I haven't had an idea as that before: meeting people at that age. I am 29 and you never image to be 60 and being single, something that can happen and  It's amazing. I love that somebody had that opening to create a group as that here in New York (there should be more like this around the world) and feel free to be single at that age. I support completely this meetings and I would like to go to know how different is that phase from the 30's. Personally, I think "Age" is only a number and we shouldn't be worry about it. We're gonna be or we're singles in different stages of our lives so the best is to embrace it a enjoy it.

By the way, Some years ago I found a blog about style for senior women and men and I want to share it with you. It's incredible how much fun and  graceful they have. Everybody is going to be there and it isn't bad.

Amo el título de este grupo para salir que encontré hoy en mi bandeja de entrada. Nunca imagine que existiera algo así. Tengo 29 y nunca imaginé estar soltera a los 60, algo que puede pasar y es maravilloso. Me encanta que alguien tuviera esa apertura para crear un grupo como ese (Arriba puedes ver la imagen del grupo y aquí el link para visitarlo) aquí en New York, ojalá se repitiera en todos los países, pues no creo que haya solteras de 60 años o más en otros lugares del mundo (mi abuelita está dentro de ellas). Me gustaría ir para ver cómo es. Personalmente creo que la edad es sólo un número y que NO deberíamos preocuparnos de eso para nada. Todos hemos o seremos solteros en alguna etapa de nuestras vidas, entonces porqué no abrazarlo y disfrutarlo.

Por cierto, encontré un blog increíble (arriba puedes ver la foto del blog) sobre estilo en personas mayores y quiero compartirlo con ustedes, se llama Advanced Style. Es muy interesante cuanta diversión y elegancia tienen. Todos llegaremos a esa edad y no tiene nada de malo.
